Judikins Flower heart rubber stamped card

This Judikins green heart card made with the Flower Power Heart Rubber Stamp #2752 F  is perfect for this time of year as it is just after Valentine's Day and I still have hearts all over the place but my crafting color them is moving to green for St. Patrick's Day.

17. Mom tattoo style Mother's Day card

I was actually working on another project when I spotted the ribbon die cut and I thought of the classic "Mom" tattoo. I thought it would make a great Mother's Day card. So I went through the Sizzix dies and one of the hearts works perfectly with it.
I die cut the heart out of a red foil box I had saved and the white ribbon out of some cardstock and outlined the two shapes with a Sharpie as well as wrote MOM on the ribbon.

I found this great piece of scrapbook paper that had some cool definitions for a background. I tried the red floral but I ended up with the black. Happy Mother's day to all!

15. Keep Calm and Cut On Recycled art card

Over at Craftside I whipped up my spin on the classic poster "Keep Calm and Carry On" changing it to "Keep Calm and Cut On". Well, I liked it so much I thought I'd make some cards. And as a consummate recycler I went to the stash and found some art postcards that looked great with the saying.
I printed the saying on sticker paper.
Then to assemble the card I trimmed the art cards down a bit, arranged the two elements on a pretty piece of scrapbook cardstock and folded them into cards.

So as the saying goes "Keep Calm and Cut On"
